Why only eleven

A long list invites skimming. Eleven entries can be read over a coffee, and each one can be checked by hand whenever something changes.

The categories are capsule, art, ice and casino. They were picked because each describes a distinct way of spending a night, not a price band or a star level.

How the writing works

Every portrait sticks to things that stay true over time: the building, the setting, what a stay feels like. If a detail would need a citation to defend, it is cut.

Casino hotels get the same treatment as the rest. Rooms, restaurants, theatres and the surroundings come first; the casino is mentioned where it sits, as part of the complex.

Money

Nobody pays to appear. Affiliate deals, commissions and sponsored slots play no part, and the site does not sell rooms.
